All ex-cadets of DUFFERIN, RAJENDRA, CHANAKYA and / or its complimentary shore establishment / academy who have completed specified officers training course (navigation or engineering ) are eligible for membership of the Association,irrespective of profession they are engaged in.

MEMORANDUM OF ASSOCIATION

1.Name:
Name of the Association shall be "Dufferin Rajendra Chanakya Ex-cadets Association"(DRACEA)

2.Address:
The Registered Office of the Association shall be situated at Bombay and presently at C/o.T.S.'CHANAKYA'Karave,Nerul,New Bombay-400 706.

3.Objects of the Association:
The objects for which the Association is established are :
(a) To promote the advancements of education, training and research in the field of Maritime Transportation and other allied Maritime subjects.
(b)To help foster friendly relationship amongst various bodies and professions in Maritime field including Indian Navy.
(c)To foster fellow feeling professional linkages as well as develop and maintain social and cultural relations amongst old Cadets and the Alma Mater.
(d)To help achieve excellence among its members and in general in the Maritime Industry and provide opportunity and facilities for discussing by holding meetings,arranging of lectures etc. and study of matters concerning and relating to training and procedure on board T.S.Chanakya and / or such other Training ships and other Mercantile Marine
